Rick Clark,The man who wears
many hats in the Chukar program is the highly
energetic Rick Clark. Born in Midwest City,
Oklahoma, Coach Clark was raised in the Idaho
Falls area. Clark was an outstanding third
baseman and pitcher at Skyline High School.
The Dixie College bound Clark's career was
ended in a freak sliding accident in which
his kneecap was shattered. After attending
Dixie College, Clark spent four years in the
U.S. military before returning to the Idaho
Falls area. Coach Clark served as assistant
baseball coach at his alma mater Skyline H.S.
during the 1990-1991 seasons. In 2004, Rick
guided the second year "A" Treasure
Valley Stars to their second consecutive fifth
place finish in the American Legion State
Tournament, and 43-15 record. Coach Clark
is in his fourth year as an assitant for the
Chukars and he will assist head coach Rick
Baumann as the Chukars "Bench Coach".
Coach Clark's responsabilities will include
offensive and defensive assistance during
games and practice organization and scouting
during the week. Coach Clark currently lives
in Nyssa with his beautiful wife Mary. They
are raising their two daughters Ashley and
Stephanie, son Andrew, niece Celestina, and
have have also adopted four foster children.
